MTV Facebook Player

This facebook video player is the second iteration of the “hit like” static graphic concept created to get facebook users to like a particular show. “Liking” a show reveals the facebook wall, where fans can comment and receive updates.

These video players offer more content to users within facebook, they can watch the last episode or trailer for the corresponding show. There are also links to view additional content on the mtv site.

Death Valley Avatars

A year ago, vampires, werewolves and zombies mysteriously descended upon the streets of California’s San Fernando Valley. Death Valley is the dark comedy that follows the cops that capture the monsters, and the camera crew that captures the cops. Well that is pretty much the gist of of the show.

Most of the shows at mtv, have a facebook page created in order for the social team to gauge interest in the show and interact with the viewers. I created these Death Valley facebook avatars featuring characters from each team (vampire, werewolf, utf and zombie). Fans of the show are encouraged to use these images as their facebook profiles and participate in a poll  to vote for their favorite team.

Make sure to check out full episodes and bonus clips of Death Valley on mtv.com, it is a funny show.

Quincy Kingston

Quincy Kingston happens to be one of my good friends, so when he asked me to shoot images for his up coming album I didn’t hesitate. The pictures were shot with my Nikon D40 and D80 along Atlantic Ave, in the bedstuy neighborhood of Brooklyn. The images will be featured in ?ue’s album booklet created by Gusto later this fall. Make sure to download his new single here!

While it is relatively simple to get the examples working, you will require some knowledge of android phones, android os, soldering, Eclipse IDE or equivalent for modifying and packaging an android app, Arduino, Java programming language.
